Amazon Prime Video Is Here to Caffeinate Your Emmy Vote

Objective

Promote Amazon Prime Video’s Emmy nominations the week leading up to final Emmy voting by bringing an experience to voter’s doorsteps.

About The Project

Coffee ’n Clothes partnered with Amazon Prime Video for a custom coffee and ice cream truck to promote five Emmy nominated titles from Amazon Prime Video. Stationed all over LA - from Silverlake, Melrose, to Studio City and Venice - the free menu included custom lattes and branded merch decorated with branding from Amazon Prime Video’s Emmy-nominated titles, including “The Underground Railroad,” The Boys,” Sylvie’s Love,” “Uncle Frank” and ‘Small Axe.” Come afternoon time, the activation shifted to feature solely “The Boys” title with a custom music playlist, ice cream, and topping combos, milkshakes, and more.

The activation concluded oceanfront in Venice Beach, CA with a 14-foot-wide sand sculpture recreating the iconic Lucy The Whale scene from The Boys Season 2 garnering the attention of thousands of beachgoers.

Insight

Emmy voters and Amazon Prime Video viewers love a surprise and delight moment. What better way to draw awareness than to bring coffee and ice cream with custom merch to the hands of thousands through a mobile activation?

Solution

CNC developed and created a mobile food truck wrapped in the artwork from each nominated  Amazon title. Each afternoon, “The Boys” took over the truck to feature their title alone. Customers were able to get free coffee in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon as well as custom branded napkins, coffee tumblers, shirts, marketing cards, and more.
