Bringing Sicily To The Hamptons With A Dolce & Gabbana Traveling Pop-Up

Objective

Create a traveling mobile pop-up for Dolce & Gabbana exclusively for Summer 2021 in the Hamptons.

About The Project

Coffee ’n Clothes partnered with Dolce & Gabbana to create an airstream completely customized with the characteristic decorations of the Sicilian Cart, a signature code of the Italian brand’s design DNA. 

This modern mobile pop-up allowed for customers to fully immerse themselves into the vibrant world of Dolce & Gabbana. The month-long activation featured Ready-to-Wear and Accessories Collections for Men, Women, and Children, creating the ultimate Italian hospitality and innovative sales vehicle for the brand.

Customers were able to make an appointment by email, or text message, which allowed for the mobile pop-up to arrive at one’s home.

Challenge

The Hamptons has remained a summer hotspot for vacationers, avid shoppers, and the luxury brands they love.

D&G wanted to create a pop-up shop to embody a laidback beach feel with a Mediterranean island-themed look.

Insight

The Sicilian Cart tells the brand’s story through history, bold colors, and popular traditions that have always sparked the creative inspiration for Dolce & Gabbana. 

Bright reds, blues, and yellows painted in Italian patterns and prints that embody the essence of Dolce & Gabbana.  

Solution

CNC developed a fully customized mobile airstream, which included the characteristic decorations of the Sicilian Cart, a signature code of the Italian brand’s design DNA. 

Customers were able to make an appointment, for the vehicle to visit one’s home.
